Each year Calvary Church selects several mission projects, both locally and globally, and invites the congregation to participate financially through special one-time gifts monthly" Coins for Caring" offerings.
For example, the gifts collected this month are going to Africa University Scholarships. The cost for one year of tuition, room, board, and fees if $5200.00 at Africa University. Many high school graduates well qualified to study at the university do not have the financial resources to make such an education possible. These scholarships will allow nine students to have an opportunity to study at the university in preparation for service to Africa in the future.
